REVIEWS...

I recommend this book for everyone: both the happy and the regretful, the clear and the confused, the weary and the refreshed, the calm and the anxious, the tough and the gentle, the hopeful and those on the very verge of surrendering. It holds a soothing effect. It is capable of reaffirming your hope. It is also a reminder that your seemingly peculiar story seems unique because others are silent on theirs.

I just finished reading "where we begin again". Ahn ahn! It's a very beautiful story and I was really drawn to it. When I realized it had ended, I thought, she must continue the story. I like the way she captured the feelings of Busola and Hammed. It felt real and really relatable and I also loved that they able to take the chance that was presented to them despite Busola's hurt and withdrawal and his 'prospect'/distraction. It really does inspire courage and hope as Mr David who wrote the foreword rightfully noted. I also love how she describes. I have clear pictures of her description in my mind as I read. I am on the second tale, my expectation is high based on the first one. Personally, I am inspired. Thank you for bringing this book my way.

Easy to read. Captivating stories that show the diversity of Nigeria and her people. Find Nigerians fascinating and some of their commonly used words... this book is for you. I'd also recommend for young readers from 10 years old.

This book is such a wonderful read. It transported me right back to the heart of Nigerian culture, traditions, and everyday life across different ethnic groups. As someone who rarely reads, I was surprised to find myself finishing the entire book in less than a week! What stood out the most for me was the diversity in storytelling; it felt like watching a Nigerian series, with each chapter offering a different tale from a different tribe.
If you’ve been away from Nigeria and are looking for something to reconnect you with your roots, this book is a perfect choice. It’s rich, nostalgic, and beautifully written. I highly recommend it!

I love that the stories were set in different parts and cultures of Nigeria. Several of them should make it into scripts for the movie industry. There’s one that kept my heart racing…the adventurous versus cautious friends that drove into the hands of terrorists. There’s also one chapter that ended without ending😂. I can’t recollect immediately the exact chapter. I wished there was a part two in another chapter.

Just four chapters in, I could not resist dropping a review.
The stories in this book are interesting and easily relatable.
I like the fact that the book is a collection of short stories, with each story, rich and complete in itself.
Oh, they are very relatable and I like the fact that it touches places, people and cultures that either bring memories for some or new knowledge for others.
The book is an easily enjoyable and cool read!

“A book that captures everyday living and its inherent challenges and blessings with the fluidity of practiced storytelling. This collection is at once snapshots of what it means to be human as it is deep exploration of the experience of being human. It traverses from story to story the psyche of individuals facing up to the changing landscapes of contemporary existence with such finesse that the reader is moved to emotive highs and lows that are interspersed with humour and wisdom. This is the work of a storyteller bestriding her gifts, her craft, and her purpose with honesty, verve, and candour. A must read”
